Women's march, Jan 19

Postby Shorty » Tue Nov 06, 2018 11:38 am

They are already planning a Women's march for 2019. Bundle up, could be a cold one.

Women’s March in Wisconsin (Official Chapter)
Hosted by Women's March and Women's March WI
Saturday, January 19, 2019 at 10 AM – 4 PM
Hosted by Women's March WI

"We are outraged. We are organized. They forgot that millions of women and allies lit the world on fire two years ago and again this past January. On January 19, 2019, we’re going to remind them we have had ENOUGH of sexist, racist, xenophobic, ableist, homophobic and transphobic policies! We will continue to resist and put an end to oppression in all its forms!

"Madison Abortion Defense will be marching in the Women's March this January for reproductive justice. Join us! If you're interested in marching with a pro-choice group, consider marching with us. We'll be meeting in a central location TBD with pro-choice signs and handing out information about fighting for abortion rights in Madison. Prior to the march we'll also be hosting a poster making session to prepare. See you there!"

No, too cold and I'm not a woman. Are these a good place to meet single women?

Maybe. What are the chances that one may sport a tattoo?

Yes, can't determine tattoos in winter clothes. Good point. But some of those socialist protester chics are kind of hot.

what wave would that be, by the way? the purified blue tsunami in 2018 that flipped both houses of clowngress and about 30 state legislatures and sent trump and the supreme court ducking and covering under their desks?

which is not to deny that there are intrinsically very important issues involved here -- we can hope for everyone's sake that the 19. january 2019 rally was better-received by the general public than its 2017 original . . .
