My favorite didn't make either list: Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri.

Wonder Woman should be higher.

Any list that doesn't include The Florida Project is suspect.

I think it had the potential to be good.

Characters were all awful people.

I've read through reviews trying to find out what I might have missed...haven't got an answer.

What did you like about it?

Also I didn't get the R rating. If anything that was due to throwaway scenes that added nothing to the movie.

It's actually getting worse the more I think about it.

I found it surprisingly average. I thought Get Out was very good.

These were my favorite movies of 2017 in no particular order:
The Big Sick
Blade Runner 2049
Logan
Dunkirk
Baby Driver

I thought Colossal would be good, and it started out OK, but it really wound up being a terrible, predictable movie.
War for the Planet of the Apes was one of the least enjoyable movies that I've ever seen, and I have a pretty high tolerance for downtrodden flicks.
As a self-respecting liberal, I know that I'm supposed to gush over Wonder Woman, but I wound up just thinking it was meh--not bad and well made, but sure not a movie I'd want to see more than once.
