Instead of "Millenials are living at home with their parents even after college"

Try "Baby Boomers have failed to build a society that allows their children to earn a living wage."

Well, we haven't had a handy World War lately to build the economy. I would argue that what we consider a "living wage" is a whole lot different than it was in the 50's and the 60's. There are more separated families and more women in the workforce.

There also appear to be more kids entering college that don't take the job market into account when choosing a major. We continue to need people in IT, but keep graduating Graphic Artists and 4 year Psychology students. Finally there are just a whole lot more people that go to college - as a result, it is obviously not going to be the comparative golden ticket it once was.

It is my understanding that there has also been some sort of monetary shift from one demographic to another. Is it possible that could have had something to do with it?

Instead of "Why is this happening to me?"
Try "What is this trying to teach me?"

Instead of ordering some common household supply, like toothpaste, online and having it come in an oversized box and needlessly padded with 18 inches of bubble wrap and worrying about someone stealing it off your porch because they think it's something valuable because who the fuck orders toothpaste delivered.....try stopping at the store on your way home from work.

Granted this was something heard in a group discussion about someone's inlaw who "orders everything online" but I have been witness to customers of mine getting packages of diapers and toilet paper, so I'm sure toothpaste happens.

I find your comments instructive, in a sad Leninist way as Bannon would say, that you embrace the MAGA! Master's trope. "Baby boomers are the most spoiled, most self-centered, most narcissistic generation the country’s ever produced." Steve Bannon

And we're still being experimented with and exploited. Hence the old moldy music in commercials lately.

I don't think I'm going to read the article just because I feel soiled whenever I read anything about Steve Bannon, but since a few people apparently have; does he consider himself to be an exception or is he assuming we're all like him?

He can think that and still be spoiled, self-centered, and narcissistic.

Sure. I don't think that I said anything to the contrary. People who are truly smart tend to be a lot more humble. They have a better sense of how much they don't know.
