Miller Park to be renamed

Postby Henry Vilas » Tue Jan 22, 2019 12:46 pm

In a couple years, American Family Insurance will take over naming rights to the Brewer ball park. Am Fam is a mutual company, so to whose mutual benefit will it be for the company to spend millions of dollars on this vanity move?

There's nothing more ubiquitous than insurance. It's a name recognition thing.

So how does spending millions on naming rights benefit those who are mutually insurance by Am Fam?

More customers? More profit? Bigger risk pool?

They've restructured their business model lately. I'm not smart enough to know what's going on, but I always vote no on their poxies because it seems they've forgotten those of us who pay the charges. Probably the CEO will get a big bone-ass for this vanity project. You know, they could have given us all a reduction in premiums for the amount of money they spent on this.
