The Pack will rise again!

I read that Infante called the GM, Tom Braatz, the night hefore the draft and said, "We've got to take Barry Sanders (instead of Mandarich)" and the Braatz replied, "No. We've discussed this already."

It's a beautiful day in the Neighborhood.

He's only one man on team with 33 starters, but he sure is fun to watch. Hope his broken wing survives the rest of the season. If they lose to the Panthers, his season is probably over, anyway.

They should keep playing Hundley, lose, and get good draft picks. They aren't going to the playoffs and Rodgers could have a career ending injury.

They should play Hundley next year too. They need more than one good draft to be back in the mix. Besides, Rogers might get hurt again ;)

Next year they start 0-0 same as everyone else. This year they are too far back to make a good playoff run now. Even if they finish 10-6 they may not make the playoffs. Minn will likely win at least one more which will make them div champion. Four teams are ahead of GB for wild card, and at least two of them will likely stay that way.

Also, Rodgers is less likely to break his collarbone again next year if he has more time to heal.

They're just not good enough all around. Rogers gives them enough wins to give us the illusion of a better team. But they're just not there in too many areas.

Sports talk is all over the idea he should lose in order to get Ted and Mike fired.

Well, that was an ugly one yesterday. Putting all the eggs in the Rodgers basket just isn't working for them.

It will be interesting to see if he plays next week now that the hopes of them making the playoffs are slim to none.

They could have won with Hundley. (I've gone full circle on him). 5 teams ahead of them for 2 playoff spots. Even if Atl loses tonight, I would stick a fork in them, they are done. Play Hundley rest of season.

You clearly don't know what the term "full circle" means. What you're trying to say is that you've pulled a 180.

Hundley's 3 wins came against teams with a combined record of 8-33. What makes you think he could beat a team with a pulse?

In two of the three victories, the other team helped the Pack win with some really stupid mistakes. The kind of mistakes only the Bears and the Browns can make.

That being said, I almost think the Pack should've stayed with Hundley. Almost.

It was good to give some of the Replacement Packers a chance to work with Rodgers, see how they interact with a top-notch QB, even if Rodgers was way off his usual game. He should play better the last two games.

I am sure plenty of Eagles fans are rooting for Rodgers.

OK you got me there. But Atl won so Packers are officially eliminated. In essence they were when Rodgers went down. Play Hundley now and try again next year with a healthy Rodgers.
