7 places you can't find on Google

Postby Henry Vilas » Sun Oct 28, 2018 3:39 pm

One of the places can be viewed on Bing, but not on Google maps. I'm sure foreign adversaries can see those sites. So why is Google hiding them?

Ned, are you looking forward to the election? Will there be a blue wave?

Hmmm. I think it will be closer than MSNBC thinks, but Dems will take the House and Reps will hold the Senate. Don't know about impeachment. Hopefully Dems will remember that it didn't go that well for Reps with Bubba.

Agreed. I don't think that impeachment would be wise unless or until we have more authoritative information about wrongdoing.

I suspect we won't be waiting all too long after Nov 6th for that information.

It would have the same effect Clinton's impeachment did; effectively shutting down the country till it was over.

The last time, it did the country some damage. This time, it would lessen the damage about to be done. We need impeachment just to slow these fuckers down for a while.

I'm thinking they may have already put enough gerrymandering, voter suppression, and departmental corruption in place that they literally can't be removed any more, but what the hell. Make 'em work a little harder for it.

the prevailing theory appears to be that it gives some obscurantist fuckknuckle at g0ggle a hard-on or major tingling down south because corporate power-tripping is so like b d s m . . . i'm sure the the kingpins at g0ggle, amazombie, dickbook, apfelsaft mit thorazine, yahuckster, fuckapaedia and so forth are all walking around with glazed-over eyes 21-24 hours today for reasons having little or nothing to do with recreational pharmaceuticals . . . damn . . . i wish i were your personnel manager, as the old song goes . . .

the b d s m theory really is the only shoe that fits . . .

f c c won't make them get over it/they are everything, or that's what they say when they fuck their mother . . .

When I first read about the Syrian civil war in Aleppo I tried to look it up in Yahoo Maps. I couldn't find it. I had to zoom in to the point that they were displaying alleys to see the label.

Something similar happened on Google Maps with Strasbourg after the European Parliament passed a law that Google didn't like. You had to zoom in to the point where you could see suburbs with about 100 people before you could see the label for Strasbourg.

and yet google maps took me post-haste to titz, nordrhein-westfalen, germany -- population 8237, post code 52445, 3°c with scattered clouds at 23.29 on 02.xi.2018, not at all that far away . . . interesting priorities at duckduckgo's mobbed-up elder brother. it's a nice place (titz) . . . i think there may be a couple of large, accomodating dairies in the region . . . it's a very pleasant drive, right up the middle . . .

it also shows that fucking, oberösterreich, austria, is approached from the south by the road to wolfing, as in wolfing pussy, of course . . .
