If it's news, but not politics, then it goes here.

ALL violent protesters without exception moron.

Yet when there were long discussions on this forum about the Bundy's and the vandals in Oregon, you were strangely silent. You only condemn those you oppose politically.

Actually my greatest opposition is to morons like you, who have nothing to add, but feel they must post something.

Will Roy stand up against this violence and the acts designed to suppress Constitutional rights?

http://www.alternet.org/news-amp-politi ... ion-unrest

Four more journalists have been charged with felonies after being arrested while covering the unrest around Donald Trump’s inauguration, meaning that at least six media workers are facing up to 10 years in prison and a $25,000 fine if convicted.
...
The National Lawyers’ Guild accused Washington DC’s metropolitan police department of having “indiscriminately targeted people for arrest en masse based on location alone” and said they unlawfully used teargas and other weapons.

“These illegal acts are clearly designed to chill the speech of protesters engaging in First Amendment activity,” Maggie Ellinger-Locke, of the guild’s DC branch, said in a statement.

None of the arrest reports for the six journalists makes any specific allegations about what any of them are supposed to have done wrong.
Doubtful...

Trump inaugural committee under criminal investigation
https://www.cnn.com/2018/12/13/politics ... index.html

"President Donald Trump's 2017 inaugural committee is currently being investigated by federal prosecutors in New York for possible financial abuses related to the more than $100 million in donations raised for his inauguration, according to sources familiar with the matter. One source familiar with the matter says the investigation is in the early stages and investigators are generally focused on whether any inauguration money was misspent.

The investigation was first reported by The Wall Street Journal Thursday afternoon. Citing conversations with people familiar with the investigation, which is being handled by the US Attorney's office in Manhattan, the Journal reported that prosecutors are also looking into whether the committee accepted donations from individuals looking to gain influence in or access to the new administration."

that is one dumbfuck prosecutor -- all campaign contributions are intended to influence -- influencing politicians to not raise taxes, or to treat public employees with more respect, or leave chronic pain patients alone, or avoid starting the third world war and not defame russians, or any other cause . . .

i wonder what the law or ethics guideline would be for the following:

in october 1992, the word on the street in montréal and paris was that a houngan, very possibly jean-bertrand aristide, did a ceremony to help bill clinton be elected . . . what clinton needed to do was wear the same pair of underpants for seven days, and possibly carry around the functional equivalent of a gris-gris and light a red candle and say a certain prayer each of the seven days before the election. . .

in-kind donation?
