Well that was a very average snowfall for Wisconsin.

First time I can ever remember trash pick-up being cancelled.

After a temporary break snow is coming down again, although not as heavily as last night. Probably an inch or two more. The wind has kicked up so more drifting.

garbage pickup deferred by one day?

i can see why . . . there is lots of it, a good fraction set to fly, and on top of that the earlier temporary changeover/mix made a hell of a mess on windows for people parked outside and it will set like tungsten carbide when it heads down towards minus forty . . . mrs gozer and i manned and womanned the phones this morning to send n c c l - d w c m p members to help dig out members and neighbours &c with arthritis, broken bones, asthma &c on the street ploughed in and needing to switch sides of the streets tonight and/or go places . . . i can't remember when the republicans or progressive dane, or the democrats for that matter did *that* . . . it might be a good project to look into . . .
