"Wisconsin Professional Employee Council (WPEC) & Wisconsin Science Professionals (WSP) invite state employees to participate in discussions regarding what the new Governor can do for state employees. Invite your union-supporting coworkers to participate as well. Union representatives will be present at each meeting. Come to any or all of the meetings below.

Tuesday, 12/11: Dept. of Health Services Headquarters Building, 1 W. Wilson St. - Room B155, 12 noon.
Wednesday, 12/12: "the new" Hill Farms Building, 4822 Madison Yards Way - Room N119, 11:45 am - 12:45 pm
Thursday, 12/13: Dept. of Natural Resources Headquarters, GEF 2, 101 S. Webster St. - Room 213, 11:45 - 12:30 pm.

Topics for these discussions:
Priorities for meet-and-confer meetings between our unions and management.
Writing an open letter to our new Governor.
State employee organizing rights.
State building union organizing plans.
Ideas So Far for Open Letter to our Governor:
1. Implement meet-and-confer.
2. Re-orient agencies to strengthen public services.
3. Get politics out of our workplaces.
4. Implement fair employment procedures.
