I was #2748 at Lacy Road Firestation in Fitchburg, but there were numbers in the basket over 2800. Are you guys just looking at the little slip they give you? Because there's a stack at each table and I'm not sure they accurately represent the number of voters.

Either that or you're looking at a counter on the ballot machine, but we had two ballot machines and I didn't look for a counter. Plus, they had an entire 6' table stacked with absentee ballots to be fed.

I'm assuming turnout is going to be pretty high and that's usually good for Democratic candidates.

I was #819 at about 2:35 at Hoyt. That was my precinct tally. Two precincts vote here. No line at all, which is why we prefer mid-afternoon to vote now that we are retired. Always pretty easy to vote at that time. I didn't catch the number on the optical scanner this time, but it serves two precincts and is usually about double my number.

My polling location has only 1 table (1 precinct) and the number on the slip usually matches (or nearly so) that at the machine, at least early in the day (before anyone needs a replacement ballot- I assume that each replacement throws the counts off by one).

I was voter #100 at AmFam on Walbridge at about 9:10. I vote at about the same time during each election, and I’m usually around #15 or #20.

Milwaukee turnout is low.
So Walker will win.
Milwaukee can rot as far as I'm concerned.

If you're willing to take a bet on that...

Milwaukee isn't as reliable but is more important due solely to population. Poor weather today will depress turnout, but the race is still close. It's not over, but Evers might just be the victim of RNG.

How can we find out if Milwaukee has reported in yet?
Oh. Here, I guess.

Milwaukee county 11/06/18 10:08 PM
Scott Walker / (REP). . . . . . . 107,303 33.00
Tony Evers / (DEM) . . . . . . . 211,182 64.95
(WITH 362 OF 367 COUNTED 98.64%)

What other counties would we want to include?

Many of the missing votes are actually from Dane County... Milwaukee is mostly in. If it's urban voters, Evers wins. If it's rural Dane County, that's a toss-up.

I was pulling for Michael White, but he seems to be getting edged out.

Mostly rural districts are still out. They'll pull Walker to the 1% victory I predicted. There are just not enough Evers votes left , unfortunately.

Eh, rural Dane County has a lot of commuters. It would be better if they were urban votes, but I wouldn't count Evers out just because the votes are rural.

I'd so love for you to be proven wrong. I really would, but I'm afraid it will be a big disappointment. Damned shame. I might have felt a little better if Cruz had lost or Gillum had won Florida or Stacey Abrams had won Georgia. I am happy about the House flipping, though.

Damn, dude. You were wrong, diddly, wrong, wrong, wrong. That's good, though, right?

I'd say half wrong, because it was 46,000 late reporting votes from Milwaukee County that put Evers over the top.
I can't think of a time that I've ever been happier to be wrong. This is huge.
