Cheapest are Eastern, Southern Europe. Most expensive are Northern, Central, and Western.

Have you ever been to Europe? Those of us who have understand that already. We're going to the four Scandinavian countries next summer and are prepared to open our wallets.

Beaver's just sharing. Not everyone has been fortunate enough to be able to experience these things.

Norway is expensive. $14 for a beer, Ikea decorated hotel room for 2, $325. Had a burger for dinner at the hotel, $22. The buffet was $35. I think my liver enjoyed its fourteen day vacation.

But you didn't post it. And the article and map were interesting, with better figures than you would have had.

Yes Henry celebrates New Years by trying to squabble with and pick on posters.

I highly recommend Warsaw, #11 (eleventh cheapest) on their list. Beautiful, walkable city, bustling but not stuffed to the gills with tourists. Direct flight out of Chicago on LOT Polish Airlines.

I read that as "a LOT of Polish Airlines" and was wondering how many there were.

Had never heard of LOT.

Ha!

My first trip was for work, and I flew... Delta? American?

Second time was for a wedding, and our friends recommended LOT. We flew coach, but apparently their Premium Economy is really nice, sort of mid-way between coach and business level. Still too spendy for us to justify.
