Tap water? You're drinking toilet water with birth control drugs in them

This is a clear and present danger to all Americans.

I drink raw water all the time. That is until our well gets contaminated.

I offer, for sale, the artisanal waters of Dead Horse Creek, at the low low price of thirty dollars per kilomilliliter.
If you inspect these waters with Van Leeuwenhoek's invention, you will see your many new friends waving at you with their many many cilia.

tap water -- at some point in some locations maybe it will come in regular, chunky, and creamy . . .

and maybe cocainey -- in addition to finding the critters and industrial chemicals and estrogen, progesterone, testosterone, and other hormones, the local governments in some areas seem to be at least on a semi-regular schedule of testing water from rivers, lakes, groundwater and the like for benzoylecgonine (a metabolite of c-jam), metabolites of crank, speed, captagon, and related stimulants, various first-order metabolites of cannabis, fentanyl-type and methadone-type open chain opioids, 3-monoacetylcodeine (if it is in one's piss they have been doing smack because some codeine from the opium dissolves along with the morphine when it is being extracted to be turned into horse and gets acetylated into the codeine analogues of the morphine derivatives found in happy powder, viz 3-monoacetylcodeine, 6-mac, and 3,6-diacetylcodeine) and all sorts of other things . . .

Just another sign of how we're moving backwards around these parts, not forwards.

The ~10,000 generations of human beings who had to live without readily available clean drinking water would be horrified by the idiocy of modern Americans, I reckon.

"drink shit and die" as it was put by the milwaukee journal 108-point red headline during the 1938 cryptosporidium outbreak

Is unfiltered water supposed to taste better? Are the Raw Water people the same general ground as the Antivaxxers and Raw Milk people? The Raw Milk people must like playing Russian Roulette with bloody diarrhea.

One of my best memories is pulling the cup, tied like a dog, off the pole for a hit of cool spring water out of the side of the mountain.

Looks like some spots are around here. Maybe one needs to go further North?

Interesting comments. I like the idea of angry landowners with shotguns of salt rocks ready to take all comers and their little dogs too. Could be a fun first date.
