Where Is Professor Wagstaff?

Postby npler » Sun Jan 06, 2019 2:34 pm

It's been a month of Sundays since I have seen the Professor. Has anyone seen hide or hair of him?

BTW, is a month of Sundays 28 to 31 weeks, or something which never happens?

Today feels like Saturday anyway. Not so long ago I had a week where every single day felt like Thursday.

He blew up over Ned's white nationalist tendencies and left.

Well I'll be a 3-petered goat. How unfortunate - he was one of the sharper tools in the Daily Page shed.

He was arrested for impersonating a professor.

I wonder what specifically precipitated his departure. I think it was either perceived lack of support from other Forons, or that admin didn't lay the ban hammer on Ned. But since he never said, I guess we'll never know. Just hope he's OK in real life. Seemed like he was angrier after Stanley died.
Apropos of nothing, I still wish Stanley had beaten out Trump.

Waggy worked way harder than Nedly, and was more entertaining.

Who is Professor Wagstaff you ask about? Or do you mean Prof. Wagstaff? I think his departure was due to this Giant Wagstaff CD Listening Project Thread. He has so many CD's to listen to he no longer had time to post here.

Don't worry, there are lots of liberals here who can fill his shoes. I didn't even notice he was gone. But Ned is rarer and more important. Conservatives are an endangered species here. And I find him more entertaining. For example:

Slow internet killed him? Would Charter have saved him?

You loved my takes in the "Foursome Gone Wrong" thread.

Limpie was just and angry lib. They're a dime a dozen here.

True. It's not even close. Ned is not to be taken seriously. I never get upset by his posts for that reason. He's good for the occasional chuckle though.

I can only assume that he is thoughtfully reconsidering the vocals of Steve Walsh. Either that or mourning Lemmy and Fast Eddie Clarke.

The Listening Project was a major reason I keep coming back here. I have no clue who Wagstaff is but the posts were a welcome diversion from all the political crap on the interwebs. I hope he's ok.
