Horse Hunting

Postby Prof. Wagstaff » Fri Nov 03, 2017 6:46 pm

I know I'm not the only Foron who routinely misreads "House Hunting" so I thought it was about time we just started a thread with this title already.
The question is, should this topic be about tracking and killing horses or rather about hunting things while on horseback?

Other topics I'm considering starting:

Take the kids haunting
Why Doesn't Trump Shout Down Russian Uranium Mine?
Eight is enough (on Flambeau)

Should be about buying a horse. I wish I had some horses.

I've read this one as "...Russian Ukranian Mine?"

The thread title got me thinking. Beef is cattle meat. Venison is deer meat. Pork is the meat of swine. And goat meat is called chevon. But what is the name for horse meat?

I know it's boring and I swear I'm not being a smartass but the actual culinary name for the meat from a horse is (wait for it) horse meat.

Horse meat is the culinary name for meat cut from a horse.

Although Wiki also gives different names for different countries that sound a bit better.

Yeah, I see it that way literally every time I look at the active topics list ... and commented on it here:

viewtopic.php?f=42&t=51100&p=863631&hilit=Horse#p863631

I suppose, if we use that thread as a model, this one should be for posting pictures of horses that are for sale and making fun of them.

I think Wisconsin should spend millions of taxpayer dollars to attract a glue factory. That will support the horse population needed to make all that glue.

Are there any local stores that specialize in horse bunting? I have a palomino I'd like to adorn.
