Just tried Lakefront Brewery's Warm Front APA and it'd pretty darn good.

For citra/mosiac hop lovers, it has a similar taste profile to Deschutes' Fresh Squeezed IPA and Ale Asylum's Velveteen Habit, though it's a little lighter. $7.99 a 6 pack at Woodman's.

Have to give it a try. Another fine APA is the HHG from Central Waters. Horseshoes and Hand Grenade. Close to an IPA. Great hops taste.

I can't say this is a favorite as I haven't tried it and don't know how available it is. But if you are looking for a new charity...

On each beer is info on a fallen military victim an how they died for their country!

Better is that from every beer sold, proceeds are donated to these victims families.

Ale Asylum's Tears of my Enemies is pretty damn good, and probably available for another month or two.

My brother had been stopping over about once a week (moved to Florida now). He often brought beer over which was always Miller High LIfe, the original Miller beer. Have had it many time long ago, but having it again, I have to say it is at the top of my list.

There is so much interesting beer on the market that I really have a difficult time coming up with a favorite. The one I've purchased most often recently is Ale Asylum Godambergedden.

Fantastic name. And I've really tried to like it. Just can't get there.

This time of year I'm up to my eyeballs in hops, even though I should be working on the giant stash of mostly barrel-aged stouts in the fridges. I stocked up on some Hopslam cans for boat weather, but I'm currently working through my Waldo's Special Ale. Just need to make sure it's not all gone by 4/20!

No Devil Dancer coming this year (sad face). And I never did see Double Crooked Tree around here this spring (sadder face). Anyone else?

Not exactly a new favorite, but I first had it last summer so it's relatively recent: Pearl Street Linalool IPA. It's brewed with wild Wisconsin hops that have extra linalool (cilantro haters, wave off).

Just typing about it transports me back up north, chilling on the screen porch gazing at the sun-spangled lake through the trees. FUCK I love summer.

Tried a "Spotted Cow" (made in New Glarus) and it was very good.

That's been around for several years. I got aversion therapy several years ago...long, boring, story. I can't stand it now, but I know I'm in the minority.
