Perhaps chugging the remaining 3 would have had you feeling better than just ok?

I may have entertained the thought if I had the day off.

Hopslam is hitting the shelves, but I haven't seen any Double Crooked Tree yet (sad face). Speculation by one of the drivers I asked last week was that "they" may be holding it back to coincide with local Hopslam release. Or maybe there's just too much Scary Jesus Rock Star left in the store coolers? (And don't get me started on the retirement of Devil Dancer for 2017. Ugh.)

So, has anyone seen any Double Crooked Tree yet?

It's listed as a February release on the Dark Horse website.

I noticed that, but their 2017 calendar shows January release. Facebook showed availability at the end of December. Should be any day now...

On the shelves as of a week ago. They must have ramped up production in 2018, I recall last year huge piles of it at all the retail locations. Used to have to chase around for it or reserve some. Woodman's had so much left early last spring they cut the price.

Anyhoo, good stuff as usual. Was really tasty in the shanty fishing on Sunday.

Is the price more realistic now? I agree, it's a great beer, but the competitive environment is a lot different now.

Still $15 for a sixer. Mini kegs are around $30.

OK, thanks. I think I'll find it on tap, then decide if it's worth it.
