It's "Es," not "Das." Not sure why I felt the need to point that out. Love that carol.

Album favorites:
Best overall: A Charlie Brown Christmas, Vince Guaraldi trio (DUH)
Best traditional: A Festival of Carols in Brass, Philadelphia Brass Ensemble
Best non-Guaraldi jazz: An Oscar Peterson Christmas (Guitar Christmas by Jimmy Ponder is close)
Best lounge: Christmas Cocktails Part 2
Best nostalgia pick: Little Drummer Boy, Harry Simeone Chorale
Best for annoying my husband: Tijuana Christmas, George Garabedian Players
My Top 50 songs, strictly by play count. (Some of my favorites, like the Holst version of "In the Bleak Midwinter," don't make the cut only because they don't fit into most of my holiday playlists.)
