When was the last time Neil played in town? The coliseum during the Trans Tour in 1981? Fan Club pre-sale started today, top tier tix are $350, some main floor, circle and mezzanine seats for $175. Lord knows when they go up for public sale they will vanish faster than Orson Welles' Invisible Man.

Like Warren Zevon and Elton John, I wish I had the chance to se Neil with a band.
(Crazy Horse) Have seen Young and John solo, and I get why they choose that option, but it isn't the same for me.

I saw Young in the early 70s at the Coliseum. First a long solo set, then after a short break another long set with Crazy Horse. One of the best concerts I ever attended.

I saw ol' Neil w/ Crazy Horse in Milwaukee, back in 1988? He had the crazy robot rats? running around the stage.

$175. No. If you are a Neal Young Fan and have never seen him, yes go. Otherwise, no.

My two cents, By John Titor.

I paid less than ten bucks to see him at his prime. Times (and ticket costs) were much different then.

Concerts were certainly cheaper in the 70s.

I know a guy who won a pair of tickets in a radio station trivia contest. Can't beat that for cheap.

So were beer, gasoline, cigarettes, and weed. A golden age, at least in retrospect.

Well that was a treat. And what an audience...as respectful as I've seen in the past 20 years. Pin-drop quiet at all the right spots:) Thank you!

Agreed, I sat way at the top and the sound was crystal clear. Solo, acoustic Neil Young is my favorite Neil Young (acoustic except for the one song).

If you bought tickets for this show, Overture overcharged you for their convenience fees ($30 in fees per ticket). Neil's management team became aware of Overture's screw up after the tickets were billed to credit cards and apparently asked Overture to issue credit card refunds for any charges that exceeded Neil's fee cap. I wish other artists put a cap on the convenience fees that venues/promoters/ticket services hit us with.

Easy for him to say. I paid $20 to join the Neil Young Archive for one year for the right to buy the tickets presale. Not complaining, I did it because I wanted to see the show and it was worth it. But if he wanted to get righteous about it he could have saved me $20. I'll check to see if Overture adjusted the credit card.
