Prince 12" records, which I dug out for my last DJ gig at Mickey's. So good. Like the version of "Let's Go Crazy" where he plays the piano with his feet b/w "Erotic City," both clocking in at 7+ minutes.

Peter Green....been on a Greenie kick the past 3 weeks, both Fleetwood Mac and John Mayall era material. His tone just kills me every time. I could give a shit about these shredders who belong at a "Notes Anonymous" meeting. The confluence of Green's fingering/touch, phrasing and the (occasional) out of phase guitar pickups is just lush.

Horace Silver, Song for my father, A basketful of jazz joy. 1963.

Lhasa, The Living Road, I don't know where to begin. A dryer-tumbler-full of impish and sad songs. (Died 2010, sadly.)

New Reptoid track. Lightning Bolt-style drumming with harsh synth noise.
