Wasn't it just Burger Week? Or was it Barbecue Week?
Suffering from a little overhyping here.
Wake me up for Marshmallow Fluff Week.

So far:

Biaggi's lunch: Carpaccio, Pesto Salmon, blueberry almond cake $15
Capt Bill's dinner: Crab-Salad Stuffed Tomato, Coconut Shrimp, key lime pie $25

Took some leftovers home from both meals. Was like three good meals for $40.

We went to Bonefish Grill last night. It was pleasant. Nice atmosphere, good service, o.k. food, only a bit of a mix-up regarding our bill, but nothing that wasn't settled relatively easily and to everyone's satisfaction. All it lacked to make the beach-restaurant vibe complete was the sand.

I suppose it says something that I went in planning to get the chicken but somehow ended up getting the fish, and that the fish was bland enough that I was o.k. with it as a base for the crab, shrimp and caper sauce (yum!).

I also allowed myself to be seduced by the Happy Hour tropical tiki martini -- more fruit juice than alcohol, I think, with the flavor profile of a lemon lollipop. But, hey, for $4 I could deal with it 8)

We had a good time, but maybe it was less Restaurant Week and more a fast visit to the Gulf Coast.
