Re: Random thoughts

I've also heard they dug a great big hole and used the dirt to build an elevated platform for the tent. Haven't been past there to check it out for a week or so. No, that elevated area is east of the tent. Been wondering what that is for. I love dress-up events and when I was younger I would have t...

Re: Random thoughts

Is there a West Egg wedding at Olbrich Beach this weekend. That's the biggest tent I've seen outside of a circus. It's like a big white castle. It's taken all week to set it up. Anyone know what it's for?

Re: The Back-up Beep

People wearing ear buds and staring at their phone screens wouldn't notice backup beeps anyway. We need backup flare guns. I think the piercing tone is designed to be heard through most obstructions, such as ear plugs many construction guys probably wear, hence our ability to hear them from blocks ...

The Back-up Beep

In this day and age of amazing technological advances, reverse cameras, motion detection and collision-avoiding braking features, the fucking back-up beep is seriously the best we can do?? Couldn't some of our brilliant millenials take a break from creating video games and make-my-easy-life-easier a...

I'll take it, but only if the blow-up dragon is included.

I mean, they put it in 5 separate pictures.

Listing agent will be present for all showings.

I think that's the dragon.

Re: You people and your cameras

But is this the way people WAnt to live? Having everything and everywhere monitored and recorded from here on out? From the enthusiasm I see, especially on the neighborhood sites, it would appear so. I don't want to live this way at all but unfortunately I have little choice outside of my own yard. ...

Re: Random thoughts

I wish I was a human bug zapper. I would get unequaled pleasure from just sitting outside and having every bug that landed on me explode on contact. Might be a little messy but it would be worth it.

Re: House hunting

Is that a faucet above the stove in the 'after' kitchen? Yes, for filling up pots on the stove. Wow. I've never seen/noticed that before. Yeah, that sink is sooo far away. And when that faucet starts dripping while they're on vacation it will be a good reason to switch to a gas range. They did add ...

Not even a category 5 and it's the "Storm of a Lifetime" ! Sounds like the work of infamous meteorological publicity firm Hypit, Skarem & Moore. They cut their teeth on Great Plains squall lines before hitting the big time with Hurricane Patricia in 2015, when they had most of the worl...

Re: Random thoughts

Every year I check out the Taste of Madison. Every year I wonder why I wasted my time. I gave it up several years ago without regret. Try it, you'll like it. Not an Onion headline: PETA wants roadside memorial for lobsters killed in car wreck . Madison allows permanent curbside memorials for bicycl...

Re: Floods

What happens to all the sandbags when they're not needed anymore? I can't imagine the urge to volunteer will be as strong when it comes to taking them away. Will people be able to drop them off where they picked them up or are they responsible for getting rid of them?

Serious question.
