Re: Walker, Fitzgerald, and Lazich

I would guess they're paving the road for Fall elections. Wisconsin Institute for Law & Liberty is also suing members of the Government Accountability Board on how much donations a candidate can accept in total. Rick Eisenberg, their Attorney, has written a couple opinion pieces in Milwaukee Jou...

Walker, Fitzgerald, and Lazich

All three are sponsoring a bill, SB 654. This will change Wisconsin law to legalize coordination between outside groups and candidates. That's because Walker and Fitzgerald know the extent of coordination they are being accused of is wrong. http://thinkprogress.org/justice/2014/03/17/3414121/wiscons...

Re: Greenway Station shopping mall

Yes, as I contemplate the snow and 7 degree temperature outside right now, nothing seems like a brighter idea than an open air mall. It makes me wonder if the ownership mistakenly believes Hilldale is in Florida. uh Yeah. They probably have some consultants on hand who say you'll pay less in heatin...

Re: Kramer asked to resign leadership

Kramer is an embarrassment to Wisconsin's GOP. He went to some unnamed "treatment" after multiple instances of sexual harassment and was kicked out of his leadership role. With only a few days left in the legislative session, the Republican caucus appoints a woman as a p.r. move. GOP was ...

Re: Walker's secret internet system

Walker must have known about the secret network and if he didn't develop it he surely approved it.

Bob Kiefert's comments to the press illustrate that Walker knew, approved of, and used the "secret" network thinking this would put him and his staff over and above open records laws.

FAIL.

Re: Rindfleisch emails

I don't think the general public cares what Walker did while he was still county exec. What he did and does as governor could attract a little more attention, as we see in the Christie story. However, Christie's traffic escapade actually inconvenienced or even harmed people in a visible way. And no...

Wi Senate trying to limit Judges' authority

This bill being discussed today by the Wisconsin Senate proposes that judges cannot block state laws they have passed. Instead of stepping back and thinking about why they are getting such resistance to these laws the Senate arrogantly thinks they just need more power. "Wisconsin Senate to take...

Re: A new John Doe investigation

The Government Accountability Board has ruled that Walker can use campaign funds in his defense. But it the John Doe enters "a purely criminal" phase, then he has to set up a separate fund to pay for his attorneys. I'm sure the Koch brothers will have his back if that occurs. I am hopeful...

Re: Work 7 days a week

When you add the 7-day work week to the proposal to do away with overtime pay it'll make for some REALLY interesting times for some workers. I'm sure glad I'm in a union. And I bet if these bills are passed into law, we'll see a lot more folks want to join/start a union as well. WELL stated. Decons...

Re: Best place to sell used books in town is...?

I've sold to Frugal Muse plenty of times. They are picky in a sensible way. You can use the credit right in the store or take the cash. You get less cash than credit. I like doing business with them because they're local and are nice people, treat kids in the store helpfully and kindly, and know th...
