Re: How should we encourage more Millenials to vote?

I think we'd get almost as many people voting if we made it a national holiday and made it much easier to vote, which means more polling places and more poll workers. On this, we agree. Instead of voting on a Tuesday, have it happen over the course of a three-day weekend with the results being deci...

Re: How should we encourage more Millenials to vote?

I'm sorry, my cat was freaking out over something. How can anybody be so sure you actually have a cat? What have you said that makes everybody think anything you say about yourself might be true? That's one of the problems with being a shameless propagandist and outright liar...people don't believe...

Re: Clocks change Sat night

If I was in charge, the clocks would be set back an hour each&every weekend. It would be good for the economy and folks who normally work nights would get some daylight hours in their life. Lots of people say they don't have enough hours in the day to do what they wanna do, so this will definite...

Re: Dane County Referendum - Question II (marijuana, do you wanna?)

It's not just the booze industry - the tobacco companies and BigPharm also have a lot of politicians (on both sides of the aisle) in their pocket. Talk around the campfire says that the Democratics are now gonna make a big push for re-legalization nationwide in order to prevent Trump from making it ...

Re: Ironworker takes on Career Politician, Paul Ryan

It's a bummer that Bryce lost this election, but I don't think he is gonna be out of the political arena for very long. Either on a ballot or working behind the scenes, am pretty sure that Ironstache will keep on keeping on.

Re: How should we encourage more Millenials to vote?

Anything goes. "Anything goes" has been your plan so far...why change tactics now? Just keep on calling those who disagree with you names and personally attack 'em until they see how pure&perfect your political opinions truly are and that'll drive 'em to the polls for sure. So yeah, k...

#702 in my small town with a population of about 5k

Must be expecting a heavy turnout. They had the tables where the ballots are handed out split into four sections rather than the usual three.

Re: Election forecasts

My prediction is that here in WI the incumbents stay in office.

That ain't what I want, nor how I voted, but it is looking like that's what is gonna happen.

YMBJ - While I can totally understand why you'd dismiss anything/everything said by those who label you as nothing more than an ignorant Nazi, I hope you know enough about me to know I ain't one of those ugly partisan hacks and thus take it to heart when I say that the comments in this thread about ...

Re: Promises made, promises kept

Who actually read the OP as in long winded post? Not me. I did. And while not everything that the President has accomplished is a good thing, I gotta admit the man got a lot of stuff done in a short amount of time. He's been a Foron for years. As has gozer. Do you beleive he really is who/what he s...

I pledge a grievance, 'cause it's a drag, to the US hey YOU.
And to the republic, which expands.
One Nation, afraid of God.
Invisible leaders with deliberacy and injustice for almost all.

Re: Fight Club

Buhwahahaha! This is hilarious. PJ has been stirring up shit with me for months...even going as far as starting obscene threads (calling me out by name) filled with bigoted slurs that would put even gozer to shame, while begging for me to respond in kind. But when finally given the chance to engage ...

did he ever admit that rocks were actually being thrown or he still in denial about that?

I see that Garg has picked up Henry's habit of asking for proof of something but then not even clicking the links when it is provided. Like a lot of other partisan hacks, neither of them are interested in the "truth" if it is gonna interfere with their perception of how things are. And it ...

Re: War Drums: Tell your elected leaders "NO WAY!"

I think anything written here at all has little or no influence on reader's votes. Perhaps some people are so set in their ways that nothing which is said can ever sway 'em, but I've found comments on this forum (as well as elsewhere on the webz) very useful in not only deciding where my vote will ...

Let me try to explain this in words a simpleton like yourself can understand: I know you are but what am I.

Of course, given your problems with remembering stuff I'll probably have to explain it a few more times.
