Re: Do you shit at work?

I just printed this whole thread out at work and took it into the bathroom with me as reading material...

Oddly, at this point the only smiley face that seems appropriate is:

Re: Stop changing people's posts when quoting them

So what if you quote someone that has quoted an adjusted quote? Are you then to blame? Or is it the establishment?      You think that rule is bad. I just ran into this rule when trying to post: Your message contains too many smilies. The maximu...

Early Picks in Madison

Someone had to start this, so here are my picks: County Exec. : Joe Parrisi - solid, reliable, and name recognition. Mayor: Soglin - The candidates will absolutely flip flop on who supports them and which districts vote for them. District 1: Richard Williams has neighborhood credentials and isn't Li...

Re: Zach Brandon running for County Exec?

How is anyone treating Mcdonnell as a front runner? And I am still waiting for the answer to the question as to whether he has ever actually won a contested race even in his tiny county district. Parisi was on a Statewide ballot 6 years ago. Dane County doesn't have that drastic of turn over in popu...

Re: Zach Brandon running for County Exec?

This should be interesting. Brandon has never won a contested election. Has Mcdonald? Or are they two that have just been given positions without challenge.

Not saying that either of them couldn't win an election, just that neither really has.

Re: Wishing for a aldermanic race?

Well, I could run but that living in the woods with wolves for four years as recluse may not help my resume.

Also, although I want a new Alder, I don't want to BE a new alder.

Wishing for a aldermanic race?

I live in an eastside district and would love for a decent aldermanic race to get the neighborhood buzzing. What about you? Have an alder whose time has come? Expect a change? Want a change? Anyone going to step up and run in your area? Mr. Green wants to know! Mr. Green is in District 16 and it isn...

I will try to watch the debate. Recommendation letters don't really matter much to me when I hire someone.

Re: 77 AD- Diane Hesselbein is a woman..really...

I prefer Wade. Hasselbriener and Hulsey both seem stuck in County Board in fighting. They think way to much of themselves as politicians. Wade has a better platform on employment and budget. He is a more sensable candidate. Something we all could use in these times. And I like the way his yard signs...

Re: Golden to challenge Cieslewicz

When was the last time Madison had a Mayor that lived on the eastside?

Is it a fund raising thing that they all have to come from the midwest side of town?

I believe the lake was open. The beach on Lake Wingra isn't far from there. Did you try that?
