I checked their schedule and there are very few singers I would pay to see. It's not worth the drunken crowds and traffic.

Don't like the crowds either. Still the Gaga show was awesome.

Went the night that Gaga was there - not sure if that upped the "skanky dressing high school girls" quotient, but there were tons of them there. I think that Summerfest is suffering from the overall implosion of the music business - there are current bands like Imagine Dragons or whatever that can draw a crowd that can fill (or overflow) one of the side stages. The problem is that they have 8 or so side stages, and 10 nights. So, they have to rely on lots of older acts, some of which can still draw young listeners.
