Hulsey for Gov....really?

Postby Endo Rockstar » Mon Apr 21, 2014 8:08 am

I understand Democrats need a primary candidate to draw some of the Republican attacks away from Mary Burke, but they couldn't find one that was even remotely plausible? Come on.

Hulsey announces for Gov.

Hulsey couldn't play one note on a one string banjo when it comes to wooing any county besides Dane (and even Dane is a stretch).

Do better democrats.

I seriously doubt this is anything Mike Tate and DPW dreamed up.
This is just Hulsey being Hulsey.

While Brett Hulsey does not have the large campaign war chests that Walker and Burke have, I believe he can come from behind and win this race.

He will be an excellent governor and I predict national Democrats will start eyeing him for a potential run for president in 2020, if Hillary loses in 2016.

Either you are as delusional as Rep. Hulsey, or you forgot your [sarcasm] [/sarcasm] tags.

He is by far the strongest candidate in the race. You don't deny that do you?

I deny that with every fiber of my being. He wouldn't have been the strongest candidate for his Assembly seat, much less the Governor's office.

Just plain fucking stupid. Hulsey is a crackpot and a joke for the party. You then go on to say he has presidential aspirations.

I did not say he has presidential aspirations.

But if Hillary loses in 2016, the party will be looking for strong candidates from the heartland, not Washington insiders.

Do you deny that Brett Hulsey fits the bill?

Look, I don't deny that Brett Hulsey has some flaws. But can't you say that about most, if not all candidates?

He is a tireless champion for progressive causes, he has spent decades in the trenches fighting for environmental issues and radical equality. He also has natural leadership skills.

It would be a huge mistake to count him out.

The smart money is on Hulsey.

I laughed out loud when I saw that story. Then westsidegal's posts on the subject made me laugh even more! This is great stuff. Keep up the good work.
