He should run for lieutenant governor on the same ticket as Hulsey. Wouldn't that be a freak show?

Careful what you wish for, 'cause unless Walker gets a primary challenger Hulsey and someone might end up on the Dem ticket together...

So you think that votes from Westsidegal and GOP crossovers (trying to get a weaker candidate to run against their beloved Walker) would be enough to tank Burke in the Dem primary?

I hope they try. Then Burke would not only be the nominee, but also out-poll Scotty and look very strong going into the general election.

In a primary that most Dems aren't going to get excited about, but Repubs would love to 'cause mischief in? Anything can happen in this State now-a-days....anything at all, especially if new voting laws are enacted and upheld.

Ain't saying I'd like it to happen; was actually kinda pointing out that the freak show you envision would only happen* if Husley won the primary first, 'cause Gov and Lt. Gov appear on the same ticket only in a general election...

*assuming the both run as Dems, of course.

Awhile back there was a push to raise money to commission a stature of Mr. Ryan to commemorate his role as a symbol of the protests. Does anyone know if they are still going to install it? I believe there was a topic on the Daily Page about it but I can no longer find it.

They already did, but Brett Hulsey toppled it with a flotation device.
