Prepping interview with Madison Public Library Director Greg Mickells, MPL Board President Tripp Widder and MPL Foundation Director Jenni Collins. Anybody have any questions?

Great job so far.

Is Meadowood on the list for improvements / expansion ?

Have you considered a 24/7 library in an area like Meadowood?

Overdrive - how is it decided what books are available? Will it kill paper books? I hope not.

Thanks. But what's "overdrive"?

OverDrive is a library-purchased subscription to eBook, audiobook, music and video content. Madison Public Library, as part of the Wisconsin Public Library Consortium, has access to this shared collection. Using your library card, you can browse for titles to download to your computer or a variety of portable devices including MP3 players, iPods, iPads, Nooks, Kindles, and smartphones.
