World War Z

Postby pjbogart » Mon Sep 23, 2013 10:18 pm

Ok, I'm biased. I love a good horror flick, especially if it involves a zombie apocalypse. "28 Days Later" is right up there with my favorite movies of all time. "World War Z" was awesome too, maybe not up to "favorite movies of all time", but it was pretty damn good.

A six pack of Leinenkugel's? $6. Microwave popcorn? I don't know, maybe $1 with the extra butter. Seeing a giant mountain of rabid zombies scaling the Wailing Wall? Priceless.

A spoiler if you live in a cave. That scene is in the trailer that has run on TV many times.

Plus, I'm not sure that the Wailing Wall actually appears in the movie. I was being metaphorical.

"Fast Zombies" arguments aside, a PG-13 zombie movie? No thank you.

That being said, no one in the world agrees with me, apparently: http://www.boxofficemojo.com/movies/?id=worldwarz.htm

That's like GTAV money.
Brad will be allowed to make quiet/arty/manly films like Assassination of Jesse James and Killing Them Softly in perpetuity, now. Maybe even adopt another kid. So I suppose I should be thankful.

My dry sense of humor obviously does not come across in print.

The zombies were not just a little too fast.
