Do you shit at work?

Postby bdog » Sat Jul 20, 2013 9:50 pm

Dude. Really?

I'm just gonna walk into this room at work and eject poo from my butt. And then I'm gonna walk out like it never happened.

And then I'm gonna shake your hand or give you a high five.

Holy shit. Really?

Yes.
That is where most of my feces is released each year, as that is where I spent most of my waking moments.
How is this odd?
Are you anal retentive in a literal sense?

My God you take care of that on your home court.

Work shitters should be used in an emergency only, like once every 10 or 15 years.

Any women care to chime in? Honestly I think most men fall into the Howler camp. That guy you are discussing the 3rd qtr numbers with probably has very fresh skid marks.

Absolutely, I say: use their resources three, instead of those of me. 1) Water, 2) Teepee for my bunghole, 3) Cleaning.

Maybe that's why Joycie left for CapTimes. Softer two-ply.

So where the fuck am I supposed to shit, bdog?
Since you're not using it anyway, how about I stop by the bathroom where you work?

People who shit at work should leave the bathroom fan running afterward.

Seriously, do you expect them to go out in the parking lot and go behind a parked car?

Cripes, has none of you heard of the courtesy flush? Glad I don't work where you do.

I don't poop at work very often, but that's biological timing, not some prudish fear of pooping. When I have to go, I go. Find the lowest-traffic bathroom you can, courtesy flush, and don't get all tweaky about it. (And yes, I've worked in places with only one bathroom each for men & women. Never worked in a one-bathroom-only office, thank god.)

For you, bdog: Laura Dimon's Daily Beast article about women pooping at the office. (Her dad is Jamie Dimon. Girlfriend can poop wherever she damned well pleases.)

The Benelux is a work-pooper's paradise. Great for public-place pooping, too. Stall doors usually go all the way to the ground, and fully enclosed stalls, their own little rooms, aren't uncommon. The doors all have occupied/vacant indicators built into the handle. Much more civilized than our knock-and-try-the-door method, or looking under the stall doors to see which is occupied.

Oh Duca, I almost shit myself reading that article. It's the funniest thing I've read in some time.

Other women report going to different floors, or walking roundabout routes from their desk to the bathroom. And some say they’ve experienced the “standoff,” when two or more women are in the bathroom, but all decline to do their business until the others leave—instead waiting awkwardly, in silence, writhing in emotional and physical discomfort, until someone surrenders.

I'm not a big fan of the office dump, but my philosophy is "when you gotta go, you gotta go." Most days I do my business at home, but a couple times a week that won't work out. We have a couple single holers where I work, so there's privacy. On the other hand, anyone who sees you going in or out of the single holers knows what you've been doing.

My job takes me out in the city a bunch, so if nature calls, I have lots of options. I admit I like an isolated bathroom where one can read for ten minutes or so without being interrupted. I also multi-task with the smart phone. Cleanliness comes into play as well. Isolated bathrooms tend to be cleaner, as are unisex bathrooms. I tend to stay away from the high traffic bathrooms.

I have a feeling that no excerpts from this thread will make the paper and ink version of Isthmus this coming Thursday. But I could be wrong.
