Lakefront's Rendevous Bière de Garde

Just tried this. It's a beautiful beer. Nice full body and good maltiness. Nicely balanced by firm, unintrusive hops. A welcome relief from the OCD hops blitzkrieg. I hope it's a harbinger of the return of Craft Brewing.

I'm a big fan of this as well. I haven't had this year's version but I'm looking forward to it.

While the big IPAs are what really moves the needle with hopheads I've seen an increase in Saison and Bière de Garde styles in the past couple years. I've really been impressed with the Belgian and French-style Saisons of Brewery Vivant in Grand Rapids, MI.
