Anyone going? I have had a wonderful time in the past.
Share your past experiences.
I got my "Feingold for President" T-Shirt there last year. Some shouted "Let the revolution begin!" I still wear it proudly.
Cycropia's "Trapeze in the Trees' was like living in a Maxfield Parish poster especially when you have help from a passed doobie.
Some of the best band music around.

I always look forward to the Orton Park festival. There's always good music. Hope it doesn't get rained out.

Cycropia is just as much fun, maybe even more so, without a passed doobie.

I'm looking forward to Fareed Haque on Sunday. Amazing player, great band!!!

Not sure if all of these guys will be with him Sunday but I heard a rumor that Salar Nader (tablas) will be there...

Fareed seems to be the only interest this year.
Why are all our Eastside fests filled with elderly/ethnic/folk?
And people swinging in trees is cool in a quick small dose.
Of course, my ADD would much rather see high-energy acrobatic monky bar danger than medicated arboreal ballet.
That said, I haven't missed an Ortonfest in 15 years.

Spencer Black had a definite Putin look going with the shaved head and tight T.

Every shaved head I walked by, I said "blunt?" out of the side of my mouth.

No responses.

Good thing you didn't say it to a cop.
