Bringing Rock to Portage

Got a gig coming up? A CD coming out? A new bass player who looks like Jesus and smells like a field of posies? If you're selling or promoting something, post it here.

Bringing Rock to Portage

Postby minicat » Tue Jan 04, 2005 9:31 am

This Friday, we're loading up the broken-down vehicles and taking this show on the road:

The Randy Cliffs, The Motorz and The Arkoffs will be playing at the Wisconsin Street Bar
214 W. Wisconsin St., Portage
Friday, Jan. 7. 9:30 p.m.
no cover charge.

If anyone on this board is in the Portage area, hope to see you out on Friday night!

When the rock came to rocktown....

Postby Kyle Motor » Tue Jan 04, 2005 1:09 pm

Reasons to go to Portage for rock:

1) Aaron's last show before paternity hiatus (he's gonna be a daddy!).

2) Damn's birthday....let's see if we can get him drunk enough to not scare people.

3) We will be performing with three guitarists, featuring Mr. Dan Hardgrove a.k.a. "Dan Motor 2: This Time It's Personal". (We're in the process of finding a tower for him to use.)

And that's just us, I can't even imagine the surprises that the Cliffs and Arkoffs might have in store.

I'm bumpin' here, because I am afraid of all the naked nerds in the Outtatoons thread.

umm ... yeah.

I have a feeling I could dime that bugger out and not be as loud as you guys are going to be with three guitar players.

Well, maybe not. But it's not coming along tonight anyway. It's been relegated to bass duty until I can get my fuzz pedal working right to control the volume.
