Tea Party Occupies Washington DC!

Postby kurt_w » Fri May 16, 2014 2:56 pm

Operation "American Spring" took place today. According to its organizers, the plans were for 10 to 30 million people to march on the nation's capital, overthrow the government, and usher in a Conservative Paradise.

Behold the heroic millions of conservative warriors, and tremble in fear, liberals!

(If you scale down the original plans by a factor of about a million, the numbers appear to be roughly accurate.)

I wonder why the organizers expected 30 million people, then.

Seems like they might not have thought this through.

My thought exactly: Look at those 20-30 slackers standing around outside the White House. Why aren't they working today like real Americans?

I don't understand why our fellow teabagg... I mean, scrotal enthusiasts, keep scheduling these events on weekdays either, Ned.

It's almost like they want a built-in excuse for near-zero turnout.

But that can't be it. Can it?

I'm disappointed. You missed the "except for unionized teachers" clause. You're slipping, Ned.

They spelled Benghazi right. WHAT MORE DO YOU PEOPLE WANT FROM THEM?!?!

I wonder how long they kicked around ideas before settling on "Liar In Chief"?

Sandi, unfortunately, could not attend. They need to make these rallies closer to the first of the month so that people who live on government handouts can afford to protest government handouts.

You're telling us that 30 million patriots were prepared to march on Washington and overthrow the Marxist Kenyan Tyrant ... but none of them could get the day off work?

Whatever happened to "our lives, our fortunes, and our sacred honor"? Patriotism isn't what it used to be, apparently.

It is somewhat amusing that the mission statement for Operation American Spring called for removing six specific men from office (Obama, Biden, Boehner, Holder ... I forget who else).

If all six were removed from office, the next person in line for the presidential succession would be:

President Patrick Leahy of Vermont (Democrat)

I'm not sure the O.A.S. loons really thought this through.
