When I leave my house, there's snow, and I don't have time to shovel...I walk down the walkway backwards so it'll look like I'm home.

I always lock my doors. I once found footprints in the snow (and a screen to a window torn off) indicating someone tried to break in...on Christmas Day...when I was gone for a half hour.

I live next door to an Irishman so I have a padlock on the liquor cabinet and barbed wire around the potato garden.
