Have you voted yet?

I got there just as the doors were opening, and there was a long line at my polling place... I was number 77.

Seemed busy, but it was only my second time voting at this location.

#208 at O'Keeffe, 7:45 AM. Line was long but it moved fast. Took about twenty minutes.

Last time I voted on my way home so I didn't get to hold the sign with the last name letters at the end of the line. I think that's a good idea. Easy to find no matter how long the line is.

I forget what number I was at AmFam on Walbridge at 9:15; I think I was around 110. It took about 8 minutes.

(Confession: I made off with about 15 "I Voted Today" stickers; I'm gonna paste 'em all over me)

My son and I voted at 7:30 this morning at Blackhawk Middle on the northside. Two big lines but they moved quickly. Usually I remember what number i was, but today, my son had some ballot issues and I was preoccupied with assisting him. The elections officials were incredibly gracious and patient with him (he is a very high functioning autistic person and this was his first time voting). As he said, "Dad, the third time is the charm". It was priceless to see his face light up when the voting machine confirmed his ballot was correctly filled out.

3 election observers in attendance, everything was cool.

#21 at Lakewood Gardens in Town of Madison at 7:05. Usually at that time I am #11.
I like voting there - it is in an office with couches so if you don't want to use the plastic screening booths (or the two they have are busy) you can grab a folder to block the ballot view, kick back on the couch and color in the lines.
