We want to hear about your adventures, be they from Istanbul, Ixtapa or Ixonia. And hey, you might even find someone you can sell your extra Euros to.

Would like comments and observations from Forons who have visited Peru in the last couple of years. Thanks.

I stayed in Cusco for a while then did a five day hike up to Machu Pichu. Gentle, kind people. Less U.S. influence than other Latin American countries. The only country where I often couldn't communicate because of a large indigenous (Quechua) population that sometimes didn't know Spanish. Beautiful native dress, crappy roads, decent food.
Have a more specific question, Stu?

Grouses about there being too many timely, (somewhat) relevant debate threads.

Bumps a 4-years-dead thread about a country in S. America with a link about a single crime in a country in S.E. Asia.

Several facepalms for you, Beav.
