GOP resorts to "yo' mama" tactic

Postby Endo Rockstar » Wed Oct 03, 2012 12:05 pm

According to the GOP, Obama's mom was a pornstar (if you find a copy of the dvd's video online there's some NSFW photos) and his dad wasn't Kenyan --- he was a commie.

Apparently a DVD containing these "game changers" was sent to thousands of Ohio voters.

But seriously -- Ned, speak the fuck up on this. Let's hear how "your mom's a whore" is a reasonable alternative to actual, substantive ideas.

Funny image, yes, but the "artist" clearly lacks an understanding of how those things work!

Remind me of the time during this campaign they have espoused any actual, substantive ideas. Romnaynryan have mostly spent their time trying as hard as possible to backpedal from everything they have said in the past and not talk about any actual specifics on what they would do if elected ... they don't want that to "get in the way of dialogue," or something to that effect.

So, Ned --- should we take your avoiding of this question:

nutria wrote:But seriously -- Ned, speak the fuck up on this. Let's hear how "your mom's a whore" is a reasonable alternative to actual, substantive ideas.

as a tacit approval of playing the "your mom's a whore" card?

I suppose if I had been thinking, I would have thrown down big money on "Ned completely avoids direct questions," but all lines are off.

To the point at hand:

minicat wrote:Remind me of the time during this campaign they have espoused any actual, substantive ideas. You're right, there hasn't been anything of substance coming from RNC as a whole in quite awhile. At the end of the day, it doesn't do them any good to talk about any of their ideas in any detail, because they are all losing ideas, politically. So, at best, we have banal generalities. More commonly, we have personal attacks, culminating with the crap described in the first post.

And you know what, it's partially our (the electorate as a whole) fault. Because something 50-100 million of our fellow voters (see Flanders, Ned) not only think "Barry Hussein's mom was in a porno!!" is acceptable political discourse, they actually view it as more important than who might have a more sensible fiscal, domestic or foreign policy. There are some fucking idiots out there who have just as much of vote as you or I, who view this as the final straw in their "This is why I'm voting for Romney" thought process.
