Anti-gay leader lets it fly on Facebook
Julaine Appling, the head of Wisconsin Family Action, a socially conservative organization, recently demonstrated that there is no such thing as privacy in social media, particularly for public figures.
A reader notified me of a comment Appling recently made on her Facebook page, in which she indicates a belief that the gay rights movement is headed by the devil.
Indeed, after checking out Appling’s Facebook page, which was public, I saw an exchange between the longtime activist and several supporters over the attention paid to gay rights at the Democratic National Convention.
“I've done some research and it seems that only about 2% of Americans claim to be ‘LGBT’ -- so how is it they are SO organized to take over public policy,” asked one man.
A woman responded: “they have the most powerful created being heading their campaign - Satan.”
Appling followed up: “(She) is right,” she wrote, referring to the commenter who alleged knowledge of Lucifer’s role in the campaign for same-sex marriage.
