Risser new State Senate leader

Postby Shorty » Tue Jul 17, 2012 8:50 pm

The old guy is back in charge. Let's hope it stays that way after November.

Mark Miller is leader.
Fred is senate president.
I hope the dems will now do to walker what GOP house doing to Obama -- hearings, hearings, hearings.

First up, changing the state motto from "Forward" to "Get Off My Lawn".

Better to have gridlock than to have lockstep!

is there any lawn left? The motto for the last two years has been "Sell the Lawn to the Highest Bidder."

I thought the Repubs already kicked everyone out of the capital until the courts overturned it.

Stu, I don't think Meade has been around town long enough to understand his last barb:) But I remember you doing doors in that race and coming to my near west side home...

And how many "hearings" has congress had on obama since 2010 again?
And you're talking about that racist pig eric holder I presume?
Didn't 17 democrats also vote for holding the pig in contempt for him not releasing his fast and furious gun running scheme?
They're now the GOP?

Your other "hearings"?

Anybody wondering about pj's Meade-Cornbread nexus is invited to read the last post (though most people have it blocked). Ask yourself if that Mr. Question Man style is contagious or if Corn just thinks Meade is so cool he's copying.

For security purposes, here's Corn's post preserved. In deference to those who prefer not to read anything Corn writes I'll put it in super-mini type so it's illegible unless you hit "quote," which will then display it at readable size:

From what I hear, the mere touch of the comma key is fatal to this kind of folk, to say nothing of silver commas.
