Dad and Mom taught us to be frugal.

My folks grew up during the Depression. Fortunately for them they were on a farm, as I think farmers generally had things easier during that timeframe.

I don't know that I am frugal in general, but I am frugal about big stuff like cars and houses. I would rather drive a car with 120,000 miles on it to fun activities, as opposed to sitting home and watching "Super Pawn Doofuses" with my new car in the garage.

I prefer "Cajun Super Pawn Doofuses."

For personal purchases I've got a WAA Mastercard through B of A that I've had since college. I know I should look into getting one with a rewards program but I've had it forever and it's got a nice picture of Bucky Badger on it. I also use a Capital One VISA for work expenses. It has a rewards program but I've just been letting it accumulate for the last few years.

Coupla credit cards, Mariott Silver Elite card, one of those magnetic pass-key cards for my toney office building, John Birch Society membership card... Nothing special.....

Funny that nobody has those little wallet-size photos anymore...
