I love (the war on ) Xmas

Postby DCB » Thu Dec 22, 2011 10:58 am

This most sacred holiday of the easily offended - when we give a soapbox to the most idiotic displays of self-rightous indignation. And of course, nobody does it better than the Quitter:

The Mao Christmas tree ornament? wow.

“It’s odd,” she said, wondering why the president’s Christmas card highlights his dog instead of traditions like “family, faith and freedom.”

We can also infer that Reagan was an un-American Christmas-hater because his holiday cards are just as lacking in 'family, faith, and freedom' as our current Muslim dictator.

I see your FFF, and raise you the FFRF's anti-nativity manger!

I'd like to take this opportunity to wish Sarah Palin a Holy Fuck.

So, instead of "family, faith, and freedom", the White House message this year is "Shine, Give, Share". So I can totally understand what conservatives are so upset about. Pffft. Share. As if.

The phony War on Christmas is as much as tradition now as It's A Wonderful Life.
