Shiner Holiday Cheer?

Postby hmmmph » Thu Jan 06, 2011 1:44 pm

This weekend in Chicago I had Shiner Holiday Cheer with a friend and we both loved it so we tried to track it down. After scouring multiple huge liquor stores there trying to find it we kind of gave up. Has anybody seen it in Madison?

I saw it somewhere; I'm pretty sure it was Steve's on McKee in Fitchburg.

Thanks! You were definitely right -- I managed to scoop up the last case they had :D

I managed to grab one of the last, if not THE last, single bottle of Holiday Cheer at Steve's (McKee) today. Jammy aroma, sweet peachy taste, and a little nutty maltiness. A great Southern winter beer. I'll look for it again next year.

Glad you enjoyed it! It's definitely different from what I think of as a winter beer, but delicious nonetheless.
