How many of you have seen the cool-ass TR2N (Tron 2) teaser trailer bootlegged from the latest Comic Con floating around the internet?

Has anyone managed to find it in AVI or MPG/Mpeg downloadable format?

It hasn't actually been released in an open digital version. YouTube bootleg only.

I just figured someone may have used some type of video capture program and converted it to an AVI or Mpg by now.

Tron Legacy is less than a month from theatrical release, holding the distinction as the longest gap in Hollywood history between a release and its sequel.

One thing I've realized though, and this isn't so much about making a point as it is stating the obvious, is the division of interest between old school and new.

I'm somewhat dreading the whole father-son storyline. I realize studios have to insert new, young characters to attract the interest of new, young audiences. I get that. Thing is, I'm not really interested in new characters. I only really care about the main characters from the original. It's a trade-off.

Take Shia Lebouef's character from Indiana Jones and the Kingdom Of The Crystal Skull. Hated him. Completely disposable. And the new characters/new actors portraying old characters in the Star Wars prequels? Terrible. I only started to get interested in the third film because it tied in more with the original trilogy.
I realize those may be bad examples, because they're bad films. But even if in some alternate reality Crystal Skull and the Star Wars prequels were good films, I STILL wouldn't care about new characters.

I've read those speculating that younger audiences may 'not get' the original Tron. They may see it as primitive and corny. I, like many others of my generation, saw Tron in theaters as a kid, and it made a pretty big impression back then. I wore out my Tron storybook record, Image
and listened to it with the likes of the Raiders Of The Lost Ark and Star Wars movie records.

As soon as I saw the new trailer I added the original to my Netflix queue; no wait - attempted to add it - THEY DON'T HAVE IT !!!

Now what the hell am I going to do? Certainly not going to leave my house and go to a "video store". Do they even still exist?

Free!?! Cool! But only if Tron Guy makes an appearance. He is, afterall, the life of the party.

You *can* get the original Tron via netflix DVD if it's simply a matter of re-living the original.

If you really want the trailer/teaser you can find it if you think hard enough. It's out there in mov, wmv and mp4 formats at minimum.

Was that in response to my query from two years ago when the light cycle "teaser" showcasing their new tech first surfaced? I don't care about that now!

Nevermind....didn't notice the date of the beginning of this thread.

@bdog - It doesn't say that on my screen. Format:DVD, and that's it.
