Perhaps, but apparently he won't be swinging with Sterger or either of the two masseuses who have now accused him of texting/sexting, etc. them.

jjoyce wrote:This is who he has always been: a deeply flawed individual whose transgressions make you cringe, but whose athletic accomplishments can bring you off your couch. Football fans are more emotionally invested in this guy than members of their own families. Watching Twitter during Monday night's game, you could see people simultaneously cheering for and against him.

That is so sweet and touching I may weep-- in between spells of vomiting. Normally I'd assume jjoyce is joking, but given that we're talking PackerBackers here I'm ready to take him at his word.

BTW-- any bets as to whether the stuff currently in the news refers to the first time St. Brett has gone this route?

Mutiny in Minnesota?

It's no real surprise that Moss popped off, but now Percy Harvin not-so-subtly questions the Vikings leadership.

Memo to Chilly: When you throw your players under the bus, don't be surprised when they do the same. It's usually not a good idea to make snide remarks about Belichick before playing the Patriots, either.

I wonder how much buyer's remorse Zigi is feeling this morning.

That didn't take long. Good use of a 3rd round draft pick.

You'd think the whole league would have figured this out by now. If Bill Bellicheck is selling you shouldn't be buying. These guys have gotten more draft picks for their used up stinking trash than..... dammit can't come up with anything to compare it to. This team will self destruct in 5...4....3...

How about this? Move the Vikings to LA. Done. Coach there is toast. Stadium is never gonna get built for this team considering next year will start the rebuilding process. A Favre-less team won't be selling tickets or jerseys. It's over Zig. Sell out.

Magic Johnson sold his stake in another MPLS->LA transfer, and has down payment money for said Vikings.

Who's ready for the St. Louis Rams to show up in the NFC North? Realignment, baby!

Hey if Baseketball taught me anything it's that the Lakers moved from MN to LA where there are no lakes. This is a very real possibility. Ziggy went all in and it looks pretty conclusively that he lost. What's left to do but walk away from the table?

I really don't want to live in a "cold Omaha". The Vikings must stay.
