Farm Aid 25 in Milwaukee Oct 2

Postby Beaver » Thu Sep 16, 2010 7:41 pm

Anyone going to help the farmers by attending this? Should be a good time in Milw. The lineup has:

Oldies but goodies:
Willie Nelson
Neil Young
John Mellencamp

Young stars:
Dave Matthews
Kenny Chesney
Norah Jones
Jason Mraz

And up-and-comers I've mostly never heard of:
Jeff Tweedy
Band of Horses
The BoDeans
Amos Lee
Robert Francis
Lukas Nelson and The Promise of the Real
The Blackwood Quartet
Randy Rogers Band

The BoDeans have been around for decades. In January 1987, a Rolling Stone reader poll voted them Best New American Band.

They were up and coming back when The Gipper was president.

They may have been around for decades but they don't fit in with the big acts:

Oldies but goodies:
Willie Nelson
Neil Young
John Mellencamp
BoDeans???
