Do You Respect Wood?

How can cultural elitists like ourselves put TV in the Culture category? Well, where the hell else is it going to fit?

20 strikeouts in one game is quite impressive. And I certainly wouldn't have let the Cleveland Indians get him.

He was a decent closer, a clubhouse leader and an incredibly popular player, but I don't think they made a mistake letting him take the money and run off to Cleveland. Not that paying for Kevin "Stinky Ben" Gregg was a much better idea.

Definitely underrated. Too bad Richards usually gets all the attention.

I don't know about respect, but I certainly feel bad that he'll be known as That Guy From the Bills Who Broke His Leg Like Theismann from now on.

You're talkin' to a Pinewood Derby blue ribbon winner for "Most Unusual Car". Yes, my car was hilarious, but I think the judges felt sorry for me cuz my car was slower than molasses in January. What'dya mean I'm supposed to add lead weights to make it go faster? Isn't that cheating?

I respect the wood, especially in the morning.

That's very, very smart of you. I tried to teach the morning wood some respect the other day and, well, let's just say it was a very sticky situation.

Given my orientation, I was born with a healthy respect for wood.
