My New Favorite Brunch

Postby MHicks » Sun Nov 22, 2009 2:04 pm

Lillian's!!
I am a long time, die hard fan of Cafe Continental for brunch. Today I went to Lillian's for brunch for the first time and it really knocked my socks off. Why have I been ignoring this option? Maybe because I think downtown first.
Everything was great. We had both the specials and they were outstanding, coffee was great (strong), beignets were fresh and fluffy. I am sorry cafe continental I will always love you but the cheese grits at Lillian's win. They are sublime. The service was great and the chef was friendly.
I was really sad to see how few people were there, now that I am in love I want Lillian's brunch to be around for the long haul, so please check it out :!:

Their menu does look pretty good. I'm not sure I knew they served Sunday brunch. Thanks for the input, MHicks, and I hope you know it's all in fun when the Forum piles on a typo.

Thanks for the support about the typos but I deserve it particularly since I still got it wrong. It's Liliana's. Two L's not three.
