New People looking for a drummer

Postby Mark Lint » Thu Sep 03, 2009 2:44 pm

Hi, drummers and people that know them,

New People (http://www.newpeopleband.com), an established band with a finished CD and gigs (but no plans to be profitable) is in need of a drummer to start recording our second CD and play some shows.

Madison area only, some singing ability preferred. Need a rock-solid, creative player who's not already overscheduled. Style: pop/rock.

Interested folks: please listen to the tunes on the web site, and if you can see yourself giving a substantial amount of time to that kind of thing for little or no cash, please e-mail: mark@marklint.com . Thanks.

When do you practice? I know someone who's new to town, but his work schedule is a little wonky.

Typically Sunday afternoons or evenings, sometimes other eves. Once a week, in any case, unless something big is coming up.

Ooh, that might be doable. I'll pass it on!
