Yup. They know what they want to do with their restaurant. Hot or not, it's clearly a smarter choice than your grammar.

Well hold on, now. It could be Duncan is an Old World British aristocrat and hasn't caught up with modern usage. At least he doesn't suffer from font-case atrophy. nothing more sad than that.

All of this petty bickering is distracting us from the really important question:

Is there a fish sandwich on the menu?

Scandinavian cuisine IS hot. There are an increasing number of highly-acclaimed restaurants in that region. For example, Noma was named the 3rd best restaurant in the world recently. There is a shortage of good restaurants in the US serving the fare.

Not sure why you think there aren't any Scandinavian restaurants in NYC either. Perhaps you've never heard of Marcus Samuelsson and/or Aquavit restaurant? There's also Smorgas Chef.

I don't think there's a fish sandwich on the menu at Magnus, though.

Lament the loss of Magnus' previous menu all you want, but the Scandinavian focus is something I look forward to. And don't write reviews of a place if all you are doing is pining for the previous incarnation.

If you don't like Scand. cuisine, why bother going?
